But it’s more than just the food. It’s about gathering at the table, whether it’s two people or twenty, to laugh, share stories, and grow together. Here, dinner isn’t just a meal—it’s the start of something meaningful.


Whether you're planning a picnic, prepping for a potluck, or simply looking for something new on your plate, these 7 salads offer bold flavors, wholesome ingredients, and easy preparation. From creamy classics to zesty twists, there’s a little something for everyone.


  • Time: 20 minutes

  • Difficulty: Easy

  • Description: A zippy and colorful salad with black-eyed peas, tomatoes, and celery tossed in a tangy vinaigrette. Perfect for any covered dish—or anytime you need a fresh, hearty dish. I looooove this salad!


  • Time: 25 minutes + chill time

  • Difficulty: Easy

  • Description: Creamy, crunchy, and nostalgic. This Southern staple is made with elbow macaroni, chopped veggies, and a traditional mayo-based dressing.


  • Time: 15 minutes

  • Difficulty: Very Easy

  • Description: Canned beans to the rescue! This protein-packed salad is tossed with a simple sweet-and-tangy dressing and gets better the longer it sits.

  • Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

  • Description: A deconstructed elote bowl with roasted corn, creamy sauce, lime juice, chili, and cotija cheese. It’s smoky, spicy, and irresistible.

    • Tip: We like to add 1/4 tsp liquid smoke and use whole grain mustard.
